Church Compass ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications and web platform.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication). Church administrators may also provide church name, address, denomination, and contact information.

  • To process donations through our payment partner (Stripe)
  • To send push notifications you have opted into (e.g., prayer alerts, event reminders)
  • To improve our platform through aggregated analytics
  • To communicate important service updates

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, and analytics
  • Stripe — Payment processing for donations and subscriptions
  • Your church administrators — Only the data you submit to your church (prayer requests, attendance, etc.)

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Account Management page or within the mobile app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data is permanently removed from our servers.
