1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Church Compass ("Service"), including our mobile applications and web portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Church Compass provides a digital platform for churches to manage their operations, communicate with congregants, accept donations, and deliver discipleship content. The Service includes an admin application for church leadership and a member application for congregants.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Church Administrator Responsibilities

Church administrators who subscribe to the platform are responsible for:

Managing team member access and permissions
Ensuring content posted through the platform complies with applicable laws
Maintaining accurate church information
Paying subscription fees as agreed upon during registration
Handling congregant data in accordance with applicable privacy regulations

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected during sign-up. Payments are processed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

6. Donations

Donations made through the platform are processed by Stripe and transferred directly to the church's connected Stripe account. Church Compass does not hold or manage donation funds. All donation disputes should be resolved directly with the receiving church.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Distribute harmful, offensive, or misleading content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
Use the platform for any purpose unrelated to church or ministry operations

8. Intellectual Property

The Church Compass, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Floating Axe Head Ministries. Content uploaded by churches (sermons, announcements, images) remains the property of the respective church. You grant us a limited license to display and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Church Compass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the Account Management page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
